Green plantation program at Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ)

Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ), a renowned non-profit community group came up with a green plantation program at Ideal Indian School, Abuhamour, Qatar on Friday, September 23.

The community members and other Karnataka based organization leaders gathered at the school premises at 8.30 am with full of enthusiasm. KSQ acting president cum Vice-president Subramanya Hebbagilu escorted the chief guest Dr Hassan Kunhi, president of IIS and KSQ Advisory board chairman Deepak Shetty escorted the guest of honour Syed Shoukath Ali, Principal of IIS to the dais.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Hassan applauded KSQ for its great efforts towards environment and gave call to more organizations to come up with such kind of projects.

Principal Syed told, “IIS will always welcome environmental green projects whole heartedly and invite more programs in future which will help to grow interest within students about mother earth”.

Later all members join hands for plantation at school premises where fifteen tree saplings like Neem and Banyan were planted.

The program concluded with the morning breakfast. Subramanya delivered the keynote address and general secretary Sandesh Anand proposed the vote of thanks.
